Eco printing

Eco Printing is a contact print process developed by India Flint. Plants are layered between pages of paper, bound together, and boiled or steamed in a dye bath to create the transfer of the plants to the paper.  I am fascinated by the process.  I have dabbled in it for a couple of years, but seriously starting researching, experimenting, and using it as an artform in fall 2019.  I cannot walk past a beautiful leaf without grabbing it up!  I have been known to stop and collect leaves at libraries, rest areas, parks, and just walking down the street!  I cannot wait to open the little bundles to see what surprises await me!
