Throughout the year I teach a number of classes at off site locations that are open to the public, Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest is one location I teach at several times a year. For these classes you will need to register with the host.
Weekly after school classes are based around a method of pattern drawing called Zentangle. It helps develop drawing skills. We also use other media - black and white ink, collage, kirigami, and we will use our skills to create a mixed media scene in a shadow box in November.
Classes are $90 per month (4 weeks) if paid in advance, or $35 per class.
Mondays 4:30 - 5:30 ages 10+
Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30 ages 6 - 10
Emma age 13

If your child has a commitment come up (band concert, field trip, etc.), if you let me know a week in advance I can adjust the schedule and there will be no charge for that class. We've made cards and gifts for a lot of different occasions including Valentines's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, and Christmas!
I teach them the tangles and then their imaginations go wild!
Adding mixed media to Zentangle is always a lot of fun! We have used Brush Markers, Paint, Collage, and even dyed scarves!
